Work directly with Team Retail team members, with assistance from the National Customer Marketing and National Category Management functions in the creation and implementation of key strategies and programs that will deliver increases in sales, market share, and PFO for Team Retail customers while operating within the annual sales division and Team Retail trade marketing budget.
Work closely with Team Retail team members, with assistance from the Director National Customer Marketing, in developing strategic programs for brands and Team Retail customers that will grow the confectionery business from a volume, market share and PFO perspective. Participate in the annual sales planning process for Team Retail with a focus on delivering identified Wrigley goals and objectives that leverage Team Retail customer opportunities for all brands. Utilize resources from other Sales & Customer Marketing teams to assist in the identification, creation and implementation of trade programs that will capitalize on Team Retail opportunities. Work with Team Retail team members in identifying promotional activities that may impact monthly forecasts. Effectively communicate approved Team Retail initiatives and other Team Retail trade information to the field sales organization to ensure better business results and excellence in execution.

- key focus vs. managing/leveraging Preview reporting. Incumbent will need to coordinate w/ Divisions an ongoing review of quality/consistency across Team Retail Work with appropriate associates to ensure V.P. of Customer Sales & Operations has visibility to status vs. key initiatives

- e.g. key financial targets: Sales Volume, PFO/Net Sales, DSO, deductions, OPEX, etc.. Work directly with Military/Vend and Special Markets teams on Preview management and Deduction Management Continually develop new customer marketing approaches that will build better business relationships within Team Retail trade. Participate in the introduction of all customer-marketing initiatives for the Team Retail trade class that are used by the field sales organization in the introduction of new products. Perform special projects or assignments as requested by the Vice President - US Customer Sales & Operations, Director of Special Markets, Director of Vend/Military and Sales Operations Manager.
This position requires an individual who is experienced in developing customer marketing strategies that will build volume, market share and PFO. Also, the incumbent must have knowledge and experience in budgeting, new product strategy development, promotional analysis, category management and actual in-field experience. Additional requirements include relationship building skills and the ability to work closely with trade channel and sales planning personnel. The ability to lead, conduct meetings, create and deliver formal presentations, along with strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this position. A Bachelor's degree is required.
